It's lovely to see an early, pre-pub mention of The Bear in Library Journal.A group of librarians awarded my first novel, The Line Painter, the Northern Lit award. I was invited to their gala dinner and spent a night eating, drinking laughing and, yes, belly dancing.I will always appreciate the support they gave me. It was fortifying during the seven hard years of writing that followed.Librarians make the world go around, but I trust ya'll already knew that.
